Console games today are still selling remarkably well – notably Call of Duty and Halo – but it seems that they are quickly being caught up to by mobile and tablet games. Mobile and tablet games are advantageously numerous and inexpensive with 67% of tablet users spend their time playing a game.

The below infographic from DailyFinance.com outlines the boom in mobile and online gaming, speculating on the future of console gaming. Personally, I prefer the touchy-feeling get-up-and-move aspects of the modern consoles. What do you prefer? GAME ON!
